Prof. Dana Weinberg’s 2004 book, Code Green: Money-Driven Hospitals and the Dismantling of Nursing, won the Connecticut Nurses’ Assocation’s Media Award. CtNA cited the book as providing “one of the best discussions of the impact of hospital restructuring.on nursing and nursing practice.”"
Congratulations!
Two MASR alumni have published work that they performed while in our program.
One publication was a collaborative effort that was based on a paper that alumnus Thomas Harmon wrote for Professor Turner’s class. Harmon received first-author billing in “Impact of T-ACASI on Survey Measurements of Subjective Phenomena” published in the summer 2009 issue of Public Opinion Quarterly. A copy of the paper can be obtained here.
Steve Olvadia spun off part of his Master’s thesis into a sole-authored piece in the forthcoming issue of The Journal of Academic Librarianship. The article is titled “How Does Tenure Status Impact Library Usage: A study of LaGuardia Community College?”.
Congratulations, Thomas and Steve.
